Scope of advice
We are independent financial advisers. We are not tied to any product provider, and we are not paid commission by any provider in respect of investments arranged for retail clients. Our advice is paid for by clients directly, on the fee basis disclosed in writing before any work begins.
We do not provide tax compliance services, legal services, or accounting services. Where these are needed, we will work alongside your existing advisers, or recommend firms with whom we have no commercial relationship.
Financial Services Compensation Scheme
We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. The level of compensation depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.
For investment business, eligible claims are covered up to £85,000 per person, per firm. For long-term insurance products, including most pensions and annuities, claims are covered at 100% with no upper limit.

We will acknowledge your complaint within five working days and aim to resolve it within eight weeks. If you remain dissatisfied at the end of that period, you may refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service at financial-ombudsman.org.uk or by writing to Exchange Tower, London E14 9SR.
